Toffan Rhythm Projects is a Toronto-based non-profit dedicated to strengthening the future of tap dance in Canada through the presentation of world-class artists, the development of leading professional Canadian work designed for additional development and touring, and ongoing programming in performance, education, mentorship, and community engagement. Rooted in the art form’s rich cultural history and inseparable connection to live music, we create opportunities for artists of all generations while removing barriers to participation through accessible programming, youth initiatives, and meaningful community partnerships. As one of the few organizations in Canada solely devoted to advancing tap dance, we support the growth of a vibrant, interconnected ecosystem of artists, audiences, and educators.
