Opened in 1983 as The Premiere Dance Theatre, and later known as The Fleck Dance Theatre, The Terminal Theatre is Toronto’s only theatre purpose built for dance. It served as a dedicated space for dance performances for over 40 years. The Toronto Stage Company acquired the theatre and reopened it in December 2025. The theatre will continue to be available for the dance community that has made the venue home for four decades, as well as the wider performing arts community.
The Terminal Theatre is a two-level proscenium theatre with a double sprung stage. The Theatre seats 450 and is available for use by performing arts communities, corporate events, filming and broadcast.
